LOZITHA – His Majesty King Mswati III has received letters of credence from incoming United Kingdom High Commissioner to Eswatini H.E Simon Boyden at Lozitha Royal Palace this afternoon.
The king said, “We are happy to welcome you and we hope that you will give yourself time to meet and exchange information with emaSwati for mutual gain. We are grateful that one of the vaccines that Eswatini has received was a contribution from Great Britain,”
Meanwhile, Simon Boyden said, “I’m delighted to present my Credentials today on behalf of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as High Commissioner to the Kingdom of Eswatini. The relations between Eswatini and Britain and shared legacy of a common language, principles and ethics have remained strong,”
On another note, His Majesty King Mswati III met a Special Envoy from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Minister of Regional Integration H.E Didier Mazenga at Lozitha Royal Palace.
Minister Mazenga delivered a message from President of the DRC H.E Félix Tshisekedi.
