MANZINI – More than just music!
With only one week left until the fifth edition of the House Musiq Fest, more activities and exciting stalls have been added this year to cater to patrons.
This year’s festival will see the addition of different types of stalls, including health, financial, and insurance stalls, art centre, as well as games. The House Musiq Fest will be held at the Manzini Club next week Saturday. Gates will open at 11am.
When reached for comment, Swazi Boy Public Relations Officer (PRO) Nokwanda Sibandze shared with this publication that HMF is not just about music. She said: “The House Musiq Festival is not just about music. This year, music lovers can expect more than the music at the HMF. We have included other exciting activities and stalls that will allow everyone to have an unforgettable experience at the festival,” Sibandze said.
“This includes the art centre, food stalls, accessory stalls, the Health Corner, financial and insurance services, a games room, and a beer garden.”
According to the PRO, the different stalls are for entertaining the patrons who always make it on time. “We want them to have something to do as the festival kicks off. We have added these stalls because we understand that people need to be educated on some things, such as health and finances, and what better way to do that than when we are gathered together for fun?” said the PRO.
Sibandze went on to encourage all attendees to visit these stalls during the day, as they drew closer to the biggest house music festival in the land. Sibandze said they would continue to announce more exciting activities and details about this year’s edition.
The line-up of the festival includes South African legendary house DJ Vinny da Vinci, Artwork Sound lAce4nic, Cece & Mthizo,DJ Benny,Ndumz DJ,Soul Freakah, Sooks, Monique Bingham, Fantacy, Ras Ned Music, Fizz& Shai-A, Crooks, and many more.
Last week saw a partnership between House Musiq Fest and Trace. This is an airtime-based partnership where the ads will be played on two of their channels, Trace Southern Africa and Trace Urban. The second part is that after the festival, the festival will be aired on these channels. The channel will also cover the entire event.
