MBABANE – South African most celebrated and decorated House Music DJ in Africa, the legendary Vinny da Vinci, will be one of the headliners of House Musiq Fest.
The fifth edition of the festival will be held on March 30 this year at Manzini Club.
The announcement was made yesterday afternoon on the festival’s official Facebook page. Other artists in phase one include Ace4nic, Cece & Mthizo,DJ Benny,Ndumz DJ,Soul Freakah, and ! Sooks will also perform at the festival.
The phase one line-up was confirmed by Swazi Boy Public Relations Officer (PRO), who shared with this publication that so far they have just released the seven artists, but they will reveal more as the build-up to the festival continues.
She said, “If you are a House Music lover in Eswatini, then you know who this man is, @Ace4nic. He is ready to take on a sensational musical journey. The duo we never knew we needed, @cece and @mthiizo, will team up to give you a one-of-a-kind music experience. This is an experience not to be missed. Get your tickets and be ready to be blown away. Come through on March 30 at Manzini Club.”
She went on to say, “Welcoming our first international act all the way from Mozambique, @djbennymz joins the stellar line-up to give you an experience to remember. If you’ve never seen him play, then this is your chance. He is ready to have you on the dance floor on March 30 at the Manzini Club. Also, the lady of House, the beautiful and talented @ndumz, who has made her name in the house music scene, joins the line-up for the. She is ready to rock your world with nothing but soulful tunes,” said Sibandze.
According to the PRO, music producer, DJ, and all-round House music artist @souldfreakah will join them as they celebrate five years of the House Musiq Festival. “A man who needs no introduction, @sooks_sz. The award-winning producer and DJ make a comeback to the HMF stage, and we are excited!
