MBABANE – Taking the festival to the people.
The success of the House Musiq Fest (HMF) has attracted other countries, which saw the team conduct two activations in Mozambique and South Africa over the weekend.
When reached for comment, Swazi Boy Public Relations Officer Nokwanda Sibandze shared with this publication that there were two activations this past weekend. One was in Maputo, Mozambique, and the other was in SA Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.
She said, “The team was excited to invite people to come join us at the fifth edition of the warmest festival in the kingdom. Both activations were successful, and we were more excited to find out that most people in both places already knew about the festival, and some said they had already gotten their tickets.”
According to Sibandze, this proved that the festival is indeed becoming bigger and better, and they cannot wait to host music fans from all over Southern Africa. She added, “We are hoping that in the coming years this festival will be known all over the world, and we will start hosting people from countries across the world.”
The PRO shared with this publication that they have concluded the line-up and are excited for the activations that will take place in Eswatini as the countdown to the fifth edition of the much-anticipated House Musiq Fest has begun. The festival is set for March 30 this year at Manzini Club.
In a previous interview, Sibandze shared with this publication that the reason they decided to activate in other countries was because they have seen the growth of the festival over the past five years and they realised more people from neighbouring countries come through for the festival, and what better way to celebrate that than going to them and interacting with them?”
The line-up of the festival includes South African legendary house DJ Vinny da Vinci, Artwork Sound lAce4nic, Cece & Mthizo,DJ Benny,Ndumz DJ,Soul Freakah, Sooks, Monique Bingham, Fantacy, Ras Ned Music, Fizz& Shai-A, Crooks, and many more.
