MBABANE – A huge milestone for House Musiq Fest!
The success of the House Musiq Fest has seen a partnership with Trace Southern Africa and Trace Urban become a reality.
The fifth edition of the festival will be held on March 30 at Manzini Club. Yesterday, Trace South Africa posted the festival video on their page. The post read in part: “All roads lead to the House Musiq Fest Eswatini taking place on March 30-31, 2024. Don’t miss out on this epic Eswatini experience.”
When reached for comment about this milestone, Nokwanda Sibandze, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Swazi Boy, shared with this publication that House Musiq Fest has partnered with Trace. This marks exciting times ahead for the biggest house music festival in the land as they have partnered with Trace.
“This is an airtime-based partnership where the ads will be played on two of their channels, Trace Southern Africa and Trace Urban. The second part is that after the festival, the festival will be aired on these channels. The channel will also join us on March 30 to cover the entire event,” shared the PRO.
Sibandze went on to say: “For us, this means growth. We are excited for the next few years, and we hope that more partnerships and sponsors will jump on board. We cannot wait to host everyone who will join us month end and urge everyone to take a chance and join us for the Easter weekend.”
It is worth mentioning that last week saw the team conduct two activations in Mozambique and South Africa, Nelspruit and Mpumalanga.
According to Sibandze, this proved that the festival is indeed becoming bigger and better, and they cannot wait to host music fans from all over Southern Africa. The PRO shared with this publication that they have concluded the line-up and excited for the activations about that will take place in Eswatini as the countdown to the fifth edition of the much-anticipated House Musiq Fest has begun.
In a previous interview, Sibandze shared with this publication that the reason they decided to activate in other countries was because they have seen the growth of the festival over the past five years and they realised more people from neighbouring countries come through for the festival, and what better way to celebrate that than going to them and interacting with them”
The line-up of the festival includes South African legendary house DJ Vinny da Vinci, Artwork Sound, Ace4nic, Cece & Mthizo,DJ Benny,Ndumz DJ,Soul Freakah, Sooks, Monique Bingham, Fantacy, Ras Ned Music, Fizz& Shai-A, Crooks, and many more.
