The now back Inyatsi Nkonyeni G2G MTB CLASSIC kicked off on a high note as hundreds of cyclist from the country and outside the borders joined in the race.
Hosted by Inyatsi Group, the 8th edition of the cycling race kicked off at 7am, where cyclists from groups, individuals and from outside the country registered and joined in the race which started at Nkonyeni Golf Estate.
The race was officially launched by Inyatsi Group CEO John Hamilton, who invited emaSwati to join in.
“Our cycling race has grown impressively over the years, attracting athletes from across the world since its inception in 2012. This year marks its 8th Edition.
Like other sporting events, it was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic which came with restrictions that limited many activities,” said Hamilton.
Hamilton also said with Inyatsi commemorating 40 years of existence this year, the industrious Chairman of the Inyatsi Group, Michelo Shakantu, continued to be passionate about the wellness of not only the Inyatsi staff but all citizens of Eswatini which was why the event returned this year.
