MBABANE – New National team, Sihlangu Interim Coach Sifiso ‘Nuro’ Ntibane hates to fail or lose.
He said this after being appointed to lead the squad to the COSAFA Cup to be played in Gqeberha, South Africa from June 27 to July 7. The former Royal Leopard Coach takes over the reigns from Dominic Kunene.
Ntibane said he had called the youthful squad not to participate in the COSAFA Cup but to compete. He said they were going all out to win their matches not just to participate.
“I’m honoured by the challenge given to me by the Eswatini Football Association. I’m happy that they believe in me that I can lead the team to the COSAFA Cup and we are going to work hard for positive results,” he said.
Ntibane who is the Under-23 Coach said the squad he had called is capable of doing well and they are the future of the country.
Ntibane called 24 players that will have to report for camp on Friday in preparations of the COSAFA Cup.
Ntibane will be working alongside Under-20 Coach Mduduzi ‘Sikhalo’ Nxumalo and Under-17 Coach Nsindiso Gama who is also Mbabane Swallows Assistant Coach.
The three Coaches are on an interim bases as EFA is on the process of hiring a new coach with interviews currently on going.
