….. Plans on joining Miss Eswatini 2023

MBABANE – You actually have to look twice to not mistake Notsile Sibandze for American model Alek Wek or a transformed, better version of Kendall Jenner.
This publication caught up with the young and upcoming model who shared her aspirations for her career and how she plans on joining Miss Eswatini.
From the way she puts together her outfits, styles in all her photo shoots, and owns her skin color and roots any potential agency can literally sign her on the go and this is one of her vision board goals this year.
When breaking down who she is, the aspiring model who has over five professional photo shoots under her name said, Notsile Sibandze is a very spontaneous, outspoken, driven 21-year-old who believes in not only tearing down walls of what society sees as relevant, beautiful, and acceptable but also not allowing them to define her.
“I’m also very spiritual too spiritual in fact and nothing is achieved without God so it is God first then me. When Growing up my family always called me Miss Universe and I took that seriously as I always had a passion for clothes and styling,” she said when explaining how she took liking into modeling.
Sibandze further said she was trying her best to break into the industry and it is not easy but she is a born fighter and has all the time in the world to make her mark.
“ I’m slowly getting there I want to be part of the best as anyone does and l would rather start my own if it fails but definitely willing to try. Eswatini is my home and it will always be my home, there is no better success that I would like to achieve if my home is not involved,” she said.
When asked where she draws her inspiration from, Sibandze who is currently studying law at the University Of Eswatini (UNESWA) said she looked up to all black women, African women especially but to be more specific Grace Jones as her top role model alongside Rihanna.
“My vibe and aesthetic honestly are still being figured out because I love trying out new things and going beyond.
“Mine is to be eccentric in all ways possible because I’m the difference, normal is not my aesthetic if anything people call me abnormal and that is me. I’m still trying to create a wider portfolio to be bigger and better,” she said.
In addition to that she mentioned that she has not done much collaboration but once had an interesting campaign with Eswatini Observer, since she has only been developing and creating her brand.
Sibandze has fully cemented herself as ‘Eswatini’s Next Top Model’ using her social media platforms, namely Instagram.
She further let slip that bagging the Miss Eswatini titles this year would be a major win for her and mostly her brand, in addition to that she mentioned that she was available for booking for advertisement, influencing, and modeling gigs.
