BUHLENI– Deputy Prime Minister Themba Nhlanganiso Masuku has once sent his condolences to the Mayiwane Inkhundla which was under the late Member of Parliament (MP) Gcina ‘Shebeleza’ Dlamini.
Masuku was speaking during the handover Ceremony of a water project in Mayiwane.
The said MP passed away last year in a car accident, Masuku said the community had experienced a great loss. He further said the people of Mayiwane had lost a hardworking man in Shebeleza.
“Today I’m reminded of the late MP, he was a hardworking man with so many projects like this one. I’m so sorry for your loss once again, he was a great man.”
In addition to that, Masuku pleaded with the community to take good care of the solar panels and boreholes.
“In some communities, we launch projects and a year later the project is non-existent because people have stolen or it has not been taken care of,” he said.
Among the many things he spoke about, he also encouraged the community of Mayiwane to register and vote for the next honourable leader they want.
He further discouraged them from destroying and resorting to violence.
“Give elections a chance, go out there, register and vote so that you can see such great projects come to the community,” said the DPM.
