MBABANE – Institutional Investors in the country have yet another opportunity to engage each other extensively.

This comes after the announcement that the Eswatini Institutional Investors Forum 2023 has been officially scheduled for the 21st and 22nd of June 2023 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Mbabane.

The inaugural forum in 2023 will be held under the theme,“Harnessing Alternative Investment to Drive Economic Recovery”.

Speaking to Eswatini Positive News, the organiser of the forum, Michael Ndzinisa, revealed that over a period of two (2) days, this forum will bring together various stakeholders to engage one another on various issues with the focus on creating a fertile ground for achieving sustainable economic growth attracting investments in diverse asset classes.

“The focus on ESG and alternative investments has never been more relevant as the investment community continues to solidify their commitment to curb key global challenges that are highlighted in the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It is against this backdrop that the MN Capital Group, with the support of its various strategic partners has, for over a decade now, been conducting country-specific programmes in an effort to provide platforms for key players in the investment community and policy makers to come together, engage one another on investment opportunities applicable to that particular country, as well as what needs to be done to move beyond just investment discussions to deal signing,” said Michael.

Some of the key discussions during the forum will be:

  • Integrating ESG into investment strategy and Climate Change
  • Macro-economic policies and development
  • The state of Eswatini investment funds – challenges, opportunities, and outlook
  • Regional economic developments and their impact on Eswatini
