JAKARTA – His Majesty King Mswati III has witnessed the signing of a Joint Cooperative Agreement between the Kingdom of Eswatini and the Republic of Indonesia. This follows a business trip by His Majesty King Mswati III following the 42nd SADC Ordinary Meeting for Heads of States and Government. The signing took place yesterday at the Istana Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, Indonesia,
Also present during the signing was Indonesia President His Excellency Joko Widodo.
The signing comes after fruitful engagements between His Majesty and the Indonesian President on Wednesday, in a bid to attract investments to the Kingdom of Eswatini in order to create employment and grow the country’s economy, according to an update from official Government media channels.
The cooperative agreement was signed by Foreign Affairs Minister, Senator Thulisile Dladla and her Indonesian counterpart, Retno Marsudi. The two ministers signed and exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding on strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
