MBABANE – With the Instacash School’s Soccer Tournament 2024 regional finals concluded, the national semi-finalist has been confirmed.
The last Instacash regional finals were concluded today (June 11,2024) at Mkhuzweni Stadium after Elangeni High School defeated Ntfonjeni High School 4-2 on penalties, after playing a goalless draw in regulation time in the Hhohho Regional finals.
In the Hhohho region’s semi-finals, Elangeni High School emerged victorious after defeating Eric Rosenburg High school 2-1 in the second semi-final match in the Hhohho Region in a closely contested match. In the first semi-finals, Ntfonjeni High School displayed their expertise and determination by defeating Mpofu High School 3-1, to book a spot in the finals.
The Mbabane branch champions have guaranteed themselves a spot in the E375 000 sponsored National semi-finals which will feature Lubombo Region Champions Ndzangu High School, Manzini Region Champions Manzini Central High School and Shiselweni region champions Evelyn Baring High School.
In the national semi-finals, the Hhohho region champions will take on Manzini Region Champions Manzini Central High School in the first semi-final match while in the second semi-final match, Lubombo Region Champions Ndzangu High School will battle against Shiselweni Region Champions Evelyn Baring High School for a spot in the national finals. The date and venue for the Instacash Nation are yet to be announced.
