SOCCER – This Saturday, it will be the last dance for the Hhohho Regional Football Association Instacash tournament at Bulandzeni.
Ndzingeni will be tournament number 14 for the region and all roads lead to Bulandzeni Sports Ground for an epic day of football. Sweet Banana, Dangerous Darkies, Roman United and Mphumalanga Aces will battle it out for the E5 000 first prize cheque.
Following Wednesday morning draw at Instacash offices at Swazi Plaza, the first semi-final pitting Aces and Roman United will start at 9am with Sweet Banana and Dangerous Darkies involved in their own face-off at 11am. The finals are scheduled for 3pm.
“This will be tournament number 14 for the Hhohho region and as Instacash we appreciate the hard work done by teams in the registration of customers. Instacash is going nowhere and though nothing has been sealed, we will definitely return before the end of the year,” Instacash Managing Director Mandla ‘Cheeks’ Nxumalo said.
HRFA Chairman Comfort Shongwe said the tournament came as a blessing to teams as it helped in pressure games which were necessary in the league competitions.
“We have not experienced any violent scenes across all the other leagues and we expect Ndzingeni folks and surrounding areas to be at their best behavior on Saturday,” he said.
