… IOL gives tips on how to survive the festival, MSN says Ami Faku can’t wait to perform in Eswatini

MBABANE– All eyes on MTN Bushfire 2023!

The country’s festival has found its niche in the international space and media from different parts of the world cannot ignore it.

The days to the most-anticipated music festival in the country are nearing and international media houses have zoomed into the festive- including IOL, which gave festival goers tips on how survival tips and MSN, which gave insight on Ami Faku’s feelings towards performing at the festival.

Ami Faku is a South African award-winning soul musician.

IOL reported that with only a few days left until the start of the MTN Bushfire, the event’s organisers have released tips on how to survive this year’s event.

“MTN Bushfire is held annually at House On Fire, a unique and iconic performance venue in the Malkerns Valley of Eswatini. It will take place from May 26 – 28, and for unforgettable experience, organisers have requested festival goers to plan in advance.

“According to the event organisers, MTN Bushfire is globally infused, authentically African and proudly Eswatini,” reported IOL.

The South African publication also published that MTN Bushfire is one of Africa’s largest multicultural gatherings, illuminating the transformational power of the arts through our call to action for positive social and environmental change.

In the meantime, speaking to MSN and IOL Entertainment, Ami Faku shared her excitement to be performing at this year’s festival.

“I have not performed in Eswatini in months, and I am looking forward to performing some of my recently released music. The crowd in Eswatini is amazing and I cannot wait to showcase my music.”

The 29-year-old also shared an update on her preparations ahead of her eagerly anticipated performance.

“Preparing with my band is a very important part of approaching a performance. I have an amazing band and we work together to showcase a true representation of my music. People can expect an exciting performance with my amazing band.”

It’s been four years since Faku released her platinum-selling and multi-award-winning debut album, ‘Imali’. Looking back at the album, she reflected on how important a moment this was for her and the process behind it.
