MARLKENS – The spirit of Bush Fire continues to burn brightly in this 15th edition of the globally rated music festival. The combination of different sounds, artists, and creators from all over the globe also continues to bring new art in to the world as artists collaborate after they meet at the Bush Fire.
This sentiments were expressed by different artists from Eswatini and other countries around the world. During the the Arts Roundtable held in partnership with FNB, Africa Rising Music Conference and the main sponsor MTN. Dutch promoter Elvin Usidame signalled that he had already experienced a few performances that blew his mind to the point of considering how they can work together to bring the music to the world.
Responding to a question asked during the roundtable, Usidame said “I’ve seen some brilliant perfomances from Eswatini since Thursday. I see opportunities of us working together in shows because we’re always interested to find new great sounds”.
Another music industry expert from Germany said that they as a record label are open to working with artists from Eswatini. Ralph Boege, Founder and CEO of Paradise Worldwide said, “We try to have a partnership model when we come into African countries because, as we’ve seen, the other models have failed when implemented by the bigger companies. We aim to be different from them,” he said.
The 15th edition of the MTN Bush Fire Festival continues until the 29th of May.
