MBABANE– Inyatsi Group, one of leading construction company and Imisebe Publishers has sponsored the Schools Art and Culture competition that will commence from the 10th to 14th of June 2024 in different schools.

The Schools Art and Culture sponsorship event, hosted by Inyatsi at their office in Manzini from 10 am to 1:30pm, brought together a diverse group of stakeholders. Their act of generosity of sponsoring the competition will provide financial support to aid in its mission to promote arts and cultural education in Eswatini.

The stakeholders that were present included; head teachers from various schools, Chief executive officer of Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC)Stanley Dlamini. Managing director of Imisebe publishers Hlobsile Stromvig, Rooney Gamedze the President of Schools Art and Culture, Nhlengetfwa the Under Secretary in the Ministry of Education and Inyatsi Construction staff.

Inyatsi marketing and public relations Ncobile Dlamini said their foundation is dedicated to fostering girls and development within the community. “Today we take a distinctive step forward by becoming the titled sponsor of schools art and culture competition. Art and culture are the lifeline of our society reflecting out history. This platform is not only for showcasing art and culture but a reminder of our rich heritage for our future,” said Dlamini.

Stanley Dlamini, CEO of Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC), commended Inyatsi, MacMillan, and Imisebe publishers for their contributions to the education of art and culture in Eswatini.

“I am delighted that our children are being exposed to the rich cultural heritage of our country through these initiatives. It is vital for our communities that we teach our children about their culture and traditions, so they can be active participants in community events and continue to carry on our cultural legacies.,” said Dlamini.

The schools competition are set to kick off next week from the 10th of June to the 14th pupils showcasing their given talents through competing against each other before they write their mock examinations.
