Confirmed MacG is making a comeback to Eswatini. Chillers in the country can certainly save the date as South African Podcaster and DJ MacG is coming back to the country for the third time now.
He is set to perform in Manzini, Moneni in the popular Club 83 under a themed event called ‘All White Launch Party with MacG’ . The event was confirmed by Club 83 in a statement poster, carried out on all social media platforms earlier today. This will take place on April 1, 2023.
Taking to the comment section, locals expressed their happiness with the choice of the main act. Some further shared they had witnessed MacG play at Solanis last year and they could not get enough.
The South African DJ will be playing alongside locals like DJ Tap, Belinda Chester and DJ Cup among others.
“This is a dope way to start a new month, the venue is also convenient we cannot wait for this show very dope,” said one social media user.
Another said “If you are a chiller you already know this is a big one, shout out to the organisers,”
The last time MacG was in the country was last year, where he brought his partner in crime Sol Phenduka.
They further went on to give Eswatini a shout out on their Podcast on YouTube accessed by close to a million viewers.
“Eswatini is warm, the people are kind man it is such a beautiful peaceful country,” they had said.
Macgyver Mukwevho born on November 6, 1988, also addressed as MacG, is a South African Disk Jockey. The Deejay and house music producer is best known for being the host of the youth program Craze on e.TV in 2000.
Five years into the show, he decided to move to greener pastures. He quit his job as a television host in 2005 for his Deejay work. The young man is no doubt among the most successful young dance DJs produced in South Africa.
The year 2018 saw the launch of his podcast and the release of the debut was in July. It has been a platform where many celebrated figures in the entertainment industry get interviewed.
He was caught up in a debate following his post for ‘his hate for gays’. The statement took away his job at YFM following a complaint tabled to BCCSA, in 2021 he won an award for podcaster of the year.
