MBABANE – Standard Bank Eswatini has presented a sum of E156 500 to Junior Achievement Eswatini (JA) to partner in the Company of the year 2023 competition where Vulamasango won.
It was gathered that E10 000 would be given to Vulamasango Junior Achievement as seed capital and the rest will aid their trip to Rwanda where they will be representing Eswatini in the Africa competition this December.
The presentation of the prize was done by Standard Bank Head of Business and Commercial Banking, Mlamuli Hlatshwayo, and it was received by JA Eswatini Head of Operations, Sabelo Dlamini.
JA Eswatini Head of Operations, Sabelo Dlamini, appreciated the consistency of the Standard Bank in supporting them over the years promising effective implementing of programs at grassroots level.
“We have so have a very encouraging number of successful students who have under gone the entrepreneurship program at JA Eswatini, for that reason we will need the partnership we have with Standard Bank to maintain this image,” said Dlamini.
Hlatshwayo applauded JA Eswatini for infusing the entrepreneurship culture in students as they are their future clients and also highlighted that the bank will continue to support JA Eswatini in all upcoming initiatives that aim to help entrepreneurs.
