MBABANE – ‘It’s ok to be different’ Schools Tour is back by popular demand!

The fifth edition of the Epic Gig Festival made the announcement Monday on their Facebook page. This was confirmed by Epic Gig Festival Director Tammy ‘Toxik’ Dlamini when speaking to this publication.

He said, “We are all about education, music, fun, and games. Simply visit the Epic gig social media pages. Drop a comment with your school name and the schools with the most mentions will be visited.”

The school tour will be held between now and June.

By participating in this unique initiative, your school can benefit from an engaging and empowering event that supports and inspires students to embrace their individuality.

According to Dlamini, the tour is inspired by multiple factors, which include the desire to motivate students and create brand ambassadors for initiative.

Recognising that many students lack opportunities to explore their passions and talents, the tour aims to bridge the gap by offering diverse learning experiences in areas such as art and drama.

The festival director also added that, by fostering an environment that promotes creativity and self-expression, the Epic Gig seeks to inspire students to embrace their individuality and pursue new avenues of personal growth.

The tour, designed to celebrate diversity and foster inclusivity, brings together a talented line-up of artists, performers, and motivational speakers. Freshmen, Real Ugesi Oshisako, and guest artists will keep the crowd entertained. Students who are part of the team and are now at the tertiary level serve as motivational speakers.
