MBABANE- The Jumbo festival team has decided to listen to the masses by restructuring ticket prices.

In a public notice released yesterday afternoon, The Jumbo Festival team announced the decrease of ticket prices from E500 to E250 for general tickets.

They highlighted that E250 ticket does not cater for meals.

The event is slated for November 5, 2022 and it will be held at Sharma House in Ezulwini.

According to the statement, the cutting down of ticket prices would allow small businesses to showcase their works, products and grow their businesses as many different people would be attending the festival.

Jumbo Khumalo, the founder of the festival, expressed his excitement towards the upcoming event saying that every year, the lovers of the festival brought their A-game in terms of fashion and elegance hence his positivity that this year would be extraordinary.

“Our event will be a boost to a broad value chain of a lot of small businesses including hawkers, fashion designers, nail technicians, hairdressers and others.

“EmaSwati requested that we decrease the price so that they afford to come and the demand has increased so impressively,” said Khumalo.

Khumalo also revealed the importance of the event through mentioning that The Jumbo Festival is an empowerment event that recognizes and celebrates all emaSwati who are doing praiseworthy exploits in their different spaces of work like corporate, entertainment, media, business and fashion. He said this was done through awarding emaSwati with awards that are called Iconic Lifestyle Awards.
