MANZINI – South African DJ and record producer Kabza De Small will be the headliner at the debut of the Balcony Groove on March 28 at Ocean Cuisine Restaurant and Bar at Riverstone in Manzini.
The supporting acts on the line-up are Zulu D, Sbu De Drum DJ, Twenty 11, The Bishops, Paris, Culolami, Fantasy, Maphi, and Lady Zed. It will be hosted by TK.
The show will kick off at 5pm and the dress code is smart casual.
Tickets to the event cost E150 for general and E250 for VIP before 9pm. After 9pm, general tickets will cost E200, while VIP tickets will cost E300. Tickets will be sold at the gate.
Kabza De Small (born Kabelo Petrus Motha, November 27, 1992) is a South African DJ and record producer. He was born in Mpumalanga and raised in Pretoria. He has been referred to as the king of the Amapiano genre. He is considered one of the best-selling music artists of Amapiano and also one of the pioneers of the genre. With his breakthrough in 2018, he played an instrumental role in popularising the Amapiano genre.
Kabza has collaborated extensively with record producer DJ Maphorisa. Kabza began his career as a DJ in 2009, venturing into the genres of Afro-fused house and EDM. In 2016, he earned his production credits by releasing his debut album, Avenue Sounds, under the label House Afrika Records. In November 2018, he gained attention by releasing two songs, “Amabele Shaya” and “Umshove,” respectively, featuring guest vocals by his Amapiano counterpart, Leehleza. Following both songs, he continued his collaboration with Leehleza as he released the song “Bamba La” on January 3, 2019.
