MBABANE– The work done in Eswatini will be on the walls of Paris.
Eswatini renowned fine artist, designer and philanthropist Khulekani Msweli has revealed that his design business, JEREMPAUL, together with contemporary art representative Yebo Art Gallery, will be exhibiting in Paris, France.
The duo will be exhibiting at the Maison & Objet Show from January 19 to January 23, 2023 at the Nord Villepinte Exhibition and the emaSwati will be stationed at the Pavillion Unique and Eclectic: Hall 5A- Stand Q119.
When sought for comment, Msweli said this initiative had been made possible by a business development program that is run by the International Trade Centre’s Alliances for Action through European Union (EU) funding.
“My business, JEREMPAUL, through its design focus, was identified as suited and ready to exhibit at the prestigious Maison & Objet international home design fair in Paris,” explained Msweli.
When asked what his expectations on the exhibition dates were, Msweli said firstly, it was just to get the JERMPAUL brand visible to the international community.
“Secondly, it is to get some orders on the products that will be exhibited and last but not least to make many connections and have a memorable experience,” he said. Winding up the brief interview, the fine artist said having an Eswatini brand like JEREMPAUL on an international design platform like Maison & Objet, put Eswatini firmly on the map as a country that had world class designer products.
