EZULWINI – His Majesty King Mswati III has introduced a new E50 commemoratory bank notes.
The King did so yesterday during the Golden Jubilee celebration of the Central Bank of Eswatini (CBE). The King did so when delivering his speech yesterday.
He said the notes were going to be a reminder of the milestones achieved by the bank in its 50-year history. The King also mentioned that introduction of the E50 notes did not mean that the other E50 notes already in circulation would be recalled.
The King said such notes would remain in circulation, together with commemoratory ones. The new E50 notes will begin circulating today.
