MBABANE – The Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force (UEDF) should continue to contribute in treating not only its members, but also treat the entire Eswatini nation.
Delivering his speech today during the Army Day at Nokwane, His Majesty King Mswati III said he was happy when informed that the UEDF was now helping Government in providing health services to the soldiers and the entire nation.
“Soldiers, your work goes beyond your military mandate, as it further entails augmenting Government’s efforts in creating a resolute socio-economic environment for all Emaswati,” the king said. He said their contribution to the public of providing quality health services through the UEDF clinics was highly appreciated by the populace.
The King further congratulated the military on acquiring the International Standards Organisation (ISO) certificate, provided by the Eswatini Standards Authority (SWASA). We congratulate you soldiers for being awarded the ISO 9001 certification by the Eswatini Standards Authority. This is a true reflection of the high-quality services which you offer not only to emasotja (soldiers) but also to the nation in general.
