MBABANE – The preparations for the upcoming King’s Birthday celebrations are 50 percent complete.
This was revealed by the Ministry of Home Affairs through its Facebook page. According to that information, Minister of Home Affairs Principal Secretary (PS) Nhlanhla Nxumalo and his team had gone to Mankayane yesterday, where the King’s Birthday will be held, to assess the preparations of the highly anticipated event.
Nxumalo was informed by the engineers on the ground that the preparations were halfway to completion. The engineers also assured the committee that the remaining tasks would be finalised in a timely manner, guaranteeing the event’s successful execution. Nxumalo was informed in his capacity as the Chairperson of the 56th Birthday Organising Committee.
Expressing gratitude towards all the reports submitted by various stakeholders, Mr. Nxumalo appreciated the collaborative efforts put forth by individuals and organizations involved in the preparation process. Stressing the significance of unity, he called upon all stakeholders to work together harmoniously, ensuring that the national event delivers a memorable experience.
