MLAWULA– The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Thulisile Dladla has shared the Ministry’s interest in the upcoming Big 5 National Park.

The Minister who was part of the tour with her diplomatic family said ever since His Majesty King Mswati III announced the proposed park, they have been interested.

“We are part of the King’s vision and we are willing to do anything to achieve His Majesty’s vision.

I brought the Ambassadors today so that they also see the vision and who knows, future sponsoring and donations may happen,” said Dladla.

In addition to that Dladla said their part in developing the country and the Tourism sector was unlimited and their part was there.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs Moses Vilakati said, the project had already been commended with land clearing underway at Mlawula.

He said one of the park’s perks will be having the Big Five animals together in one place and this was going to do well for the country’s domestic tourism.

“This is going to be big and it comes at a time when we are exploring ways to combat the harsh climate change. The park is going to also benefit the communities around with employment and other job opportunities,” he said.

After the tour, the Ministry and diplomats took a hike to a cave, where a huge part of Eswatini’s history is contained.
