KOREAN DOCTORS SERVICE ABOUT 300 EMASWATI FOR FREE, IN ONE DAY

MBABANE – The collaboration of Korean Christian Medical Mission and Eswatini Medical Christian University (EMCU) has seen the health of emaSwati being attended to for free.

This happened under the Elangeni Community Health Outreach Programme for Health Assessment and Promotion, which was sponsored by the above-mentioned entities.

About 300 children and adults’ health matters were attended to at the Tfuba Community Centre at Elangeni the past Saturday.

Present during the outreach was EMCU Vice Chancellor Professor Paul S Yan and a team of 15 Korean Specialists in dental, internal medicine, obgyn, ultra sound.

According to one of the attendees, who spoke on condition of anonymity, there was registration from as early as 8.30am.

“After wards, there was a series of health assessments, diagnosis of illnesses and treatment with medicines or drugs from Korean Team. Also, there were health education and awareness programmes.

“The community that participated in the event was served with refreshments after consulting the doctors,” said the credible source.
