MBABANE– LiSwati designers are making their mark in the fashion world and Tebenguni Mkhatshwa is ready to fly the Eswatini flag in South Africa.
The designer will be attending the Global African Fashion Coalition on June 10, 2023, in Nelspruit where she will showcase her ‘Avant-Gade Recycled Range’.
Mkhatshwa expressed excitement for the fashion show and thanked Seed Soil Harvest Ministry for the opportunity.
“I am the Environmental Officer at Seed Soil Ministry and I would like to thank the Ministry for their faith and support in my range. I also thank God for giving me the strength to do this as well as Fashion meets Art Collaboration for the opportunity to explore my creative side. I will not let you down,” said Mkhatshwa.
Mkhatshwa further mentioned there were secret opportunities hidden in every failure.
“I am very humbled to be meeting with the Gurus of fashion through the Global African Fashion Coalition.
Seed Soil Harvest Ministry also thanked the designer for taking the department’s vision forward. “We would like to thank Tebenguni for taking the department’s vision forward. It would have just remained a dream without your dedication and we can now proudly say “Avant-Gade recycled range”.
