MBABANE- Flying the Eswatini flag high!
Vusani Miaki Matsebula, a liSwati man, has been nominated under the Forty Under 40 Africa Awards and is the only nominee representing the Eswatini.
Matsebula was nominated because of the years of great service, dedication and effort ‘Letsgozanzibar’ has shown in promoting hospitality, music, arts and cultural exchange over the years.
During an interview with this reporter, Matsebula mentioned he was very happy about the nomination.
“It makes me happy as the owner of Letsgozanzibar to receive such a nomination. I am especially proud of the team I work with for their hard work and dedication in showcasing Eswatini to other African countries and the world at large.
“We have been hosting exhibitions, music festivals, cultural exchange programs and events through our vacation packages.
“We have also worked with government and private organisations in different countries like Ghana, Namibia and South Africa which has concluded into this nomination. This has promoted and exposed our (Eswatini) music and culture to the world,” said Matsebula.
Matsebula further explained what winning this award would mean to him.
“Winning the award will open doors for more networking platforms within my sector. This will help promote our travel packages and a larger cultural exchange audience,” said Matsebula.
Matsebula further appealed to emaSwati to vote for him and help him bring the award home.
“To vote for me, go to https://fourtyunder40africa.com/poll/hospitality/.”
