MBABANE– It’s about to go down at Mdzimba View Shisanyama for Cupid’s Den on February 25, 2023.
Still celebrating the month of love, female DJs will take to the decks and turn the heat up from 2 pm until late.
Some of the DJs on the lineup include Lolo, Black Pearl, Expo, Lady Zee, VXSIN, ItsallblaQ and more. Welz Wethu will be the MC.
The show is organised by Young Inc. Director of Young Inc, Sebenele Dlamini mentioned to this reporter that the aim of this show was to empower Eswatini’s female DJs.
“Cupid’s Den aims to empower our female DJs in Eswatini. Most of them haven’t been on stage in a while and some have shown here and there but this is a day when they can all come together and just enjoy playing their sets as women.
“It is also a month of love which is why we have an all-female lineup to celebrate and show them love,” said Dlamini.
Dlamini further mentioned they added one international female act to the line-up.
“We have added one International act, ‘Ngiyazifela’ hitmaker, Bassie, who is the first lady of iNkabi Records.
“She will be joined by MFR Souls. We intended to have one highly recognized act to be added to the line-up for attracting more people to attend the show as well as for the women performing to be able to network and foster new relations internationally.
“Pre-sale general tickets are E120/ E180 at the gate and VIP tickets cost E250. Tickets are available at Mdzimba View Shisanyama and all Galitos outlets,” said Dlamini.
