LOCAL ACTS HEADED TO ZANZIBAR

MBABANE – A bunch of local artists are headed to Tanzania Zanzibar come October.

The four artists set to hoist the country’s flag on October 26- 30, 2023 are Hip Hop DJ Supa CDQ, award-winning comedian Mdura and the country’s biggest export The Bishops.

Zanzibar is a Tanzanian archipelago off the coast of East Africa. On its main island, Unguja, familiarly called Zanzibar, is Stone Town, a historic trade centre with Swahili and Islamic influences.

The Island of Zanzibar boasts pristine white sand beaches, abundant sunshine, exotic Swahili dishes, the best spices in the world, hospitable people and luxury tourist resorts.

They will form part of the highly anticipated ‘Full moon party’ where there will also be a music arts and cultural exchange Exhibition.

When confirming the news, comedian Mdura said he was looking forward to emceeing the event. He further said, he also looked forward to the talent he will be travelling with.

“I cannot wait to get a different feel of Tanzania and a new crowd. I’m really looking forward to giving it my all and also having a good time,” said the comedian.

Meanwhile, Let’s Go Zanzibar in partnership with Mega Lounge Eswatini, is hosting a LETS GO ZANZIBAR event to support the four Eswatini artists who have been invited to join South African and Tanzanian artists in Zanzibar Island for The Full Moon Party with African tourism, music arts and cultural exchange Symposium.

On September 29, 2023, an event is going to be hosted at Mega Lounge where a contribution of E50 contribution at the gate, would be greatly appreciated.
