MBABANE– Eloquent!

This best describes Mthandazo ‘Mtha’ Mkhwanazi’s latest video, where she is auditioning for Shimza’s call for presenters.

In the 60 seconds video, MC and Eswatini TV lifestyle host gets into presenter mode and talks about an Afternoon drive.

“Hey you guys, happy Sunday. In my bio is a link to a comment I made on DJ Shimza’s tweet about looking for presenters.

“I’m just here to ask you to please watch the video and interact with it in whatever way you feel led to, like, comment and share.

“I do not know how people are chosen from this but I’m sure the interactions do not hurt. Also I posted it twice, once in the comments and once in the Quote Tweets of shimza.dj’s post. Thank you guys for everything,” read the caption on Mtha’s video.

The video has gone to reach over a thousand views and 300 interactions in the comment section, where people mentioned DJ Shimza over and over again.

This video has also been endorsed and liked by South African industry greats like Ami Faku and Andile Ncube who shared nothing but good reviews of Mtha’s presenting skills.

Meanwhile, on his twitter account, award winning Shimza announced that he is looking for presenters.

In his well-received tweet Shimza asked those interested to comment and quote his post with their video auditioning for the role.

Meanwhile, Mthandazo Mkhwanazi is an MC, Presenter, TV Personality and Law Student. She has over the time described herself as a diamond in the rough.

She has been popular for hosting shows like Swazi Boy’s House Music Fest, Pop Sunday, and Social media awards among others.

When asked about the video and the love she was getting, she mentioned that she was looking forward to seeing how things will work out.

“I’m grateful for the love I’m getting and I’m hopeful things will work out for me in a good way,” she said.

In addition she said she was utmostly grateful for the love she is getting from locals in her video.

In addition to that Mtha thanked her friends for pushing her to audition for the video.

“The honest truth is I did not go into this with any expectation. In fact I had to literally be pushed by my friends to do it because I was all kinds of nervous. There is just something unbelievably scary about being so vulnerable and bare to the public and asking them to judge you.

“It is uncomfortable and it is frightening. So you can imagine how this reaction was a complete shock to me. I could not have dreamed for people like Andile Ncube or Ami Faku to have even seen my video, let alone interact with it. So my hopes are for more miracles like this to happen. In high school, I used to say I want to be on VUZU, but that channel is not on our screens anymore and I’m sad about it. But my vision still has not changed,” she said.
