MBABANE – Two local music groups and one local artist have collaborated on a new Extended Playlist (EP) titled ‘Fruits of Life,’ which was released on Good Friday.
The local music ensembles are Trend Twins, Brothers On Cue, and Loony Tech. The Trend Twins are an Afro-house duo that consists of two young ladies, namely; Nkosenhle Dlamini and Nosimilo Dlamini. The Brothers on Cue duo consists of Phiwokwakhe B Hlophe and Bandzile T Mbokazi, and Loony Tech’s real name is Lihle Tsabedze.
When reached for comment, the Trend Twins said: “Yes, we have released a single with Brothers On Cue and Loony-Tech. We have worked with them before, and we are still working on the EP together.”
They further said that: “‘Fruits of Life’ is a track that seamlessly blends Afro-house, Afro-melodic, Afro-tech, and electronic dance music. This dynamic collaboration brings together the extraordinary talents of Trend Twins, Brothers On Cue, and Loony-Tech, delivering an electrifying fusion of genres that transcend boundaries. We hope you love and dance to the track.”
When reached for comment, Phiwokwakhe Hlophe of the Brothers on Cue duo said: “It was great collaborating with Trend Twins, and it is not just a song, but it is their first song, and it is with us. It is a dance song, and it suits their style of play too since we play the same genre. We believe great things are coming for us. It may be soon or later since we are reaching highs, not limits.”
‘Fruits of Life’ is a track that delivers an electrifying fusion of genres that transcends boundaries.
