MALKERNS– Local is indeed lekker!
All Eswatini artists that have taken to the 16th edition of the MTN Bushfire stage made sure to practically take over.
From the lyrically gifted Lution to Velemseni and now Qibho Intallektual. All these artists made sure to leave everyone amazed and asking for more.
Yesterday it was Supa CDQ and Velemseni shutting down the entire festival. Earlier today Qibho did the same when he took to the stage and delivered a rather emotional yet captivating performance.
From his outfit to his lyrical deliverance Qibho whose real name is Qiniso Motsa looked ravishing in his outfit which he mentioned was designed by his sister.
Over 4000 have been left in awe of the rich talent Eswatini has. Some of the visiting guests said they were thoroughly entertained by the talent they saw.
“I did not come here for a specific act but I came here to witness Eswatini’s greats and I’m very happy I really got my money’s worth,” said Arianna Jules from Germany.
Meanwhile, Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs Moses Vilakati said he was happy with the first two days of the festival and was happy with the numbers he saw.
“MTN BUSHFIRE has a well-deserved reputation for its visionary approach. The festival aims to develop the arts whilst promoting social responsibility. “Through its thoroughly innovative and development-focused approach, the festival gives back to the people of Eswatini with 100 per cent of profits donated to two Swazi charities; Bushfire does a lot for the economy and tourism,” he said.
