Born Wandile Ndlovu in Pigg’s Peak 30 years ago, he debuted his music career in 2015. He was among the top ten winners of last year’s MTN Bushfire Firefly. This helped his brand a lot, as he has been recognised and recommended at a lot of big events.

When reached for comment, M. Nation shared with this publication that he got the gig with the help of the Office of Arts and Culture via the embassy. He will also tour India for 19 days and leave the country on January 30.

“I am excited about the trip; it will be my first time in India. Last October, I performed in Zanzibar. I’m really looking forward to the experience of touring that country and sharing his music with the people of India.”

Arts and Culture CEO Stanley Dlamini confirmed the trip, that indeed the artist was set to perform at the India festival next month.

M Nation shared with this publication that he is dropping an Extended Playlist (EP) this year; more details will come closer to the date. “I have an album titled Limuva Lami, which is doing well in the market,” shared the artist.

When asked how he got his stage name, he said, “I got my stage name from a friend who told me that I was going to entertain a lot of nations with my music.”.

According to the artist, he fell in love with music when he finished school. Due to a lack of funds to study further, he decided to venture into music. He has performed all over the country and headlined a lot of events, including the MTN Bushfire Festival last year, Sibebe Hiking, Biggest Braai, Eswatini Motorsport Weekend, and a lot of other events.

He has also performed on numerous occasions in South Africa, with the most recent being a crossover show that was held in KwaZulu Natal (KZN) in Mgazini. When asked how the crossover event was, he said, “The KZN crossover was amazing. I was headlining the show with local comedians Gogo and Slwane. They showed us so much love and really looked forward to going back there again.”
