MBABANE– Eswatini Gqom musician M Nation is getting ready for his first performance on the MTN Bushfire stage and has roped in fans to make his performance magical.
The festival will be held at House on Fire in Malkerns from May 26 to May 28, 2023.
The musician, real name Wandile Ndlovu, is in the process of creating his stage track list and has asked his fans which of his songs they want him perform on stage.
“Family, which songs do you want to see me perform at MTN Bushfire Festival 2023? Let us make it a very magical one,” said the artist.
This reporter conducted interviews with M Nation fans from Piggs Peak. It is worth noting that M Nation is also from Piggs Peak.
‘Gawula etiveni’, ‘Limuva Lami’ and ‘Sanibonani’ were the most requested songs from fans.
“‘Limuva lami’ has always been my favourite,” said Sandile Mamba.
“‘Gawula etiveni’ just brings out the Swati in me. It is authentic and lively,” said Sagila Sishuba.
M Nation was one of the festival’s Firefly competition winners and will get to take his music to the biggest event in Eswatini.
“I aim to grow my brand globally and set myself up for the big stages. This is a great milestone for me, I am humbled and great grateful,” said the musician.
