MBABANE: Mawhoo for third edition of Solanis City Girls R’Up!
South African female vocalist of not only Amapiano but most soothing musical genres, the dynamic female performer Mawhoo, will on Saturday perform at Solanis Shisanyama.
The energetic SA performer will be part of the City Girls R’Up Saturday edition. This was confirmed by Brand and Marketing Manager Chantal Dlamini. She said, “Mawhoo is known for her emphatic, emotionally resonant, and spiritually inspired musical messages; sing along to #Ngilimele, #DaliWami, and many more this Saturday. Gather your squad, right#Solanis, we are passionate about you.”
The local DJs who will be part of the line-up on Saturday are DJ Expo, Black Pearl, Lady Zee, It’s All Blaq, Wassabee, The Prefect, Ash, Belinda Chester, Zo’leka, and Chantel.
Tickets to the show will cost E120 at the gate.

Born Thandeka Ngema in Eshowe, KwaZulu Natal, in 1994, MaWhoo is a talented South African artist, model, singer, songwriter, actress, and soloist. The singer is dynamic and unique with her pattern of music, melodious voice, and great sense of fashion. She is an Amapiano artist and has worked with several artists, including Master Kg, DJ Maphorisa, Vigro Deep, Heavy K, Kabza De Small, and other international artists.
She released her debut single, titled Umshado, in 2019, which paved her way into the industry and collected over 5 million views on social media platforms. Some of her hit songs include Umshado, Mswapheni, Amakhosi, 1oKYe McDonalds, Ngithakazele, Memeza, and others.
