MBABANE– Guess what? There is a new American Corner in town.
Manzini and surrounding places have a new space where they can visit and connect with the United States of America (USA) information and where the public is able to host and access programs for free whether they live in Manzini, Mbabane or any other town.
The opening launch was officiated by the United States Head of Mission Chargé d’Affaires Earl Miller at Manzini Public Library second floor.
Speaking at the launch of the American Corner, Miller said the Manzini American Corner provides a welcoming atmosphere and is where many visitors may gain their first insights into America.
He added that, “The American Corner is a U.S. Embassy partnership with the Eswatini National Library Services that demonstrates the U.S. commitment to building strong bonds with the people of Eswatini.”
An American corner is a place that connects people with the U.S, access information and where the public is able to host and access programs for free. Whether they are in Manzini or Mbabane, there is a corner waiting for them.

It was further reported at the time that in just five months Endibanweni, the artistic, cosy and user-friendly public space had welcomed over 9 650 people who had either come as individuals or as groups to access the services offered.
