MANZINI GIANTS OUT FOR REVENGE IN MAVUSO DOUBLE HEADER

MBABANE – Football fans in Eswatini are in for a treat this weekend as Manzini Wanderers and Denver Sundowns will be out to seek revenge for their Trade Fair Cup exits in a double header at Mavuso Sports Centre on Saturday, 30 September 2023.

Both teams were defeated in the opening match of the tournament on 3 September, but now have the chance to redeem themselves.

The first match of the day will see Denver Sundowns, known as the “Kappa Boys”, take on Manzini Sea Birds at 1400hours. This will be followed by Manzini Wanderers playing against Moneni Pirates in what promises to be an action-packed derby at 1600 hours.

With National First Division games also commencing on Sunday, there will be plenty of football to enjoy across different venues throughout the country. The Premier League of Eswatini has released the latest fixture showing games scheduled for the weekend.

Football fans are eagerly anticipating the showdown between the Manzini giants and their rivals. With emotions running high and the determination to win prevalent, this promises to be an exciting weekend for fans and players alike.

On Saturday, Madlenya will take on Royal Leopard at Kalanga Stadium, ILLOVO have a date with Young Buffaloes at Mayaluka Stadium , Nsingizini will battle it out with Newly Promoted Ezulwini United at Prince of Wales Stadium.

Another exciting match to watch is between Capital City Giants Mbabane Swallows who will clash with Green Mamba at King Sobhuza stadium. There will be a single match on Sunday, 1st October where Rangers will host Mbabane Highlanders.
