MARINATED SCRUMPTIOUS MEAT READY FOR FUNLOVERS AT BIGGEST BRAAI

MBABANE– It is meat galore at Mavuso Trade Centre.

The long-awaited 7th edition of the Eswatini Biggest Braai is finally here, filled with the tastiest meat and entertainment for everyone.

The Chairperson of Philani Maswati Charity Organization, Lutfo Dlamini, has assured the nation that almost everything is set for the event, come tomorrow.

Dlamini said, as organizers, they have done everything within their powers to make every emaSwati who will attend the Biggest Braai happy.

Speaking in an interview with Eswatini TV Kusile breakfast show, the parliamentarian stated that it will be free entry for children below the age of twelve and that tickets are available for children aged 13 upward.

“For the meat, it is fresh and well marinated and easily peristalsis down the throat. We have got the best meat for Emaswati,” said the Chairperson.

“For those with special dietary requirements, we got them covered too. We have got different packs of meat to cater to those. The meat will also be made available on the inside for Emaswati who will want to purchase inside”, said Dlamini.

In terms of entertainment, the Ndzingeni Member of Parliament stated that all booked artists have confirmed for the event. He further mentioned that even foreign artists have confirmed for the show. Everyone will enjoy their favourite song as different genres will be played. Games for children will be available. The air will be filled with smoke as cars will be drifting and spinning, he added.

“This year we have got an exclusive boxing match between local giants Mphandlana Shongwe and Major V. I went to meet them during their training and I found that the boxers are trained by professionals. The match is really one not to be missed”, said the Chairperson.

“This year we have a professional fashion show with over 10 designers from the SADC region who are already in the country. The designers will be showcasing their brands. I believe it will be a day well spent for friends and families. We have placed a cake for everyone born on the 8th of July”, he added.

In extension, the chairperson argued that the event will start on Saturday at 8 am and end in the following morning. He said that the Djs will be dishing out music from morning until the following Sunday morning.

For safety reasons, the Philani Maswati Charity Chairperson said the ending of the event at 3 am caused accidents for Emaswati. He mentioned that it is wise for them to end the show at 5 am so that Emaswati would wake up and go to church.

“The car parking is secured, we do have private and government security. We would like to urge Swazis to come in their numbers”, he said.

The chairperson explained that he is expecting a huge turnout compared to previous events.

He said the main purpose of the braai is to raise funds for charity.

He urged Emaswati to be used to give a helping hand to those in need.

He asked the nation to be united and put respect first in everything they do and also support each other by buying food and drinks for those who might not have.

Dlamini encouraged companies to come and pitch up Gazebos.

He added that the proceeds raised in the braai have managed to build a home that will accommodate over thirty elderly people. He said that the cost to build the structure was over E7 million. This year is mainly focused on raising funds to buy furniture including Beds, stoves, curtains and blankets. He said that those attending the event should know that they are giving to charity.
