IMPORTANCE OF TAKING THE COVID-19 JAB
Although experts are still learning a lot about the COVID-19 vaccines, there are some clear benefits to getting vaccinated:
- The Covid-19 vaccine is effective at preventing severe illness. Even though, you can still be infected after taking the jab, but the chances of your health deteriorating are very slim. Studies have shown vaccinated people who do get infected have mild to moderate cases of COVID-19 compared to those who are not vaccinated.
- The vaccine reduces the risk of people spreading the virus that causes covid-19. This means that getting the Covid-19 jab not only protects you, but also limits spreading the virus to our families, colleagues, friends and loved ones.
Side effects of the vaccine Like all other vaccines and medications, the jab has none to minor side effects depending on the individual. These are normal and they going away in a few moments or few days.
