MBABANE – The Municipal Council of Mbabane has disclosed that there will be changes in the park and pay services in Mbabane.
The Council has engaged Eswatini Parking provider to manage and control both on-street and off-street parking in the capital’s streets.
The new service provider will commence work on 1 September 2021. Council trusts that motorists will give Eswatini parking the support they need as they embark on the journey to improve the park and pay service and also improve the experience for parking customers in Mbabane. The new service provider replaces Lula Parking.
Also, Council takes this opportunity to refresh the memory of motorists about the different parking zones in the city and the charges associated. The city has parking spots that are classified as short term parking and long term parking zones and these are separated by the amount of time vehicles are allowed to park.
Short term parking zones are those streets where motorists can park up to a maximum of four (4) hours and the cost is E2.50 per half hour (30 minutes). Long term parking zones allow motorists to park their vehicles for a full day and the cost is E2.50 per half hour (30 minutes) and E15.00 for the whole day.
