Pigg’s Peak – The crowd exploded in laughter, as local comedians Mdura and Sibusiso Ngwenya delivered a night of non-stop hilarity at Maguga Comedy Night on Saturday.
With their sharp wit and quick-fire banter, the duo had the audience in stitches.
For two hours (8pm to 10pm), the crowd hung on every word as the comedians wove together stories of family, friends, and the absurdities of modern life, turning them into a performance art. The venue was packed with eager attendees, many of whom arrived early to secure the best seats.
During an interview with Ngwenya, he said, “I usually get inspired by experiences or imaginations of reality happening around us and then develop a joke from that. After performing the joke for the first time, I then develop it into a long one. I won’t say how, because it’s different depending on the idea in mind.”
Mdura also expressed his excitement about the attendance and support from fun lovers. He also appreciated Maguga Lodge for opening their doors and embracing their concept.
With comedic timing, the duo has crafted a show that tickles our funny bones and leaves us in stitches.
