MBABANE– Inyatsi Group Holdings keeps on empowering emaSwati professionals.
In a very recent event, Construction Associates, a subsidiary company of Inyatsi Group Holdings, has revealed Merica Vilakati as the new Managing Director (MD).
Vilakati’s appointment was revealed today on all online platforms of Construction Associates.
“The Board of Directors, management and staff of Construction Associates wish to congratulate Mr. Merica Vilakati on his appointment as Managing Director. We wish in all the best in his new position,” read the statement on Vilakati’s appointment.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Vilakati was a Site Manager at Inyatsi Construction, which is also a subsidiary company of Inyatsi Group Holdings.
When contacted for information, Inyatsi Group Holdings Communications Officer Ncobile Dlamini confirmed Vilakati’s appointment.
About a month ago, we published that the right attitude might land one a job at one of the nine Inyatsi Group Holdings companies.
This was according to Inyatsi Group Holdings Executive Chairman Michelo Shakantu, who was captured in a quote saying when they hired, they hired attitude.
“When we hire, we hire attitude- first and foremost. Then we train for skill,” said the Executive Chairman in a quote that was posted on the official pages of Inyatsi Group.
Shakantu further said even if someone had 40 PhDs, they would not hire them if they happened to have a bad attitude. “Attitude determines whether someone will be a good fit for us. So, we will hire someone who has a good attitude and the up-skill them,” he said.
