MBABANE – With the Tin Mining and Mini factory set to open under Kubuta, residents are set to be the main beneficiaries through job opportunities.

This was revealed by Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade Manqoba Khumalo when he visited the area during an event held by the constituency. The event was to give thanks for the jobs already created and updates on coming projects.

The Minister said these jobs would be created through the mineral Tin mine that would soon be opened in the constituency.

Another program he revealed was that of women called ‘Vukani boMake’ which are going to open a mini factory.

“The textile people will come and request the kind of clothes they need them to sew in the mini factory and the residents will benefit in terms of job opportunities,” explained Khumalo.

“At the moment we are looking for a way for prospectus to dig the mineral and be able to export it. Mineral Tin is needed worldwide,” Khumalo added.

The event was attended by over a 100 community members and Members of Parliament (MPs) including Kubuta’s MP Mzwandile Mamba.
