This was the session between Minister of Finance Neal Rijkenberg and the Eswatini Positive News (EPN) Team that happened at the ministerial offices in Mbabane earlier today.
During the proceedings of this meeting, Rijkenberg mentioned that Eswatini Positive News had made great progress after a few statistics regarding the reach of the online publication to emaSwati had been shared with him.
The minister went on to advise and encourage the EPN team members in the media field. He shared a few business guidelines that he felt this online publication needed to adhere to in order to make progress, while sending out a positive message to emaSwati.
In turn, Director at EPN, Mbongeni Ndlela ensured the noting of the guidelines that had been shared and expressed gratitude to the minister for allowing the team to meet with him. He further expressed that he was pleased with the work that EPN had been doing so far and that the team would continue to work tirelessly in ensuring the dissemination of positive news in the country.
“We would like to express gratitude for the opportunity to meet with you minister. I believe the team has taken note of everything that you have shared with us, as have I. I would like to state that we do not take the information you have shared with us lightly and plan on exploring options of implementing what we have noted today,” said Ndlela.
