MADLANGEMPHISI – The Minister of Commerce Manqoba Khumalo visited the Madlangemphisi inkhundla to present 62 business development workshop participants with certificates.

The workshops in different tinkhundla areas are part of the Ministry’s ongoing exercise to make it very easy for Eswatini citizens to develop businesses with the right information to help them with business organisation, fundraising, and compliance with all the relevant laws.

Speaking during the last day of the workshop yesterday, Minister Khumalo remarked that, “We try to make it easy to start a business. for example, you can now pay for your business and trading licenses with your phone, so you no longer need to queue at the revenue to pay.” He added that there is a Citizens Economic Empowerment Bill which is currently in parliament to ensure that, among other things, it takes a maximum of three days to register a business and trading license in the country.

Minister Khumalo also revealed that the Bill will also ensure that Emaswati are always included to supply for any Government tender.
