… Finals slated for May 20

MBABANE– All for the girl child and woman empowerment!
This is what the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs Pholile Shakantu is all for and this was evident today when she injected E100 000 towards the Sigwe Inkhundla Women Netball Tournament at Decapol Sports Ground.
The sponsorship is benefitting women in netball teams under the above-mentioned constituency, under the Ndunayithini and Lulakane Chiefdoms.
Present during the presentation with the main sponsor, Minister Shakantu, and the Minister of Tinkhundla Administration and Development, David ‘Cruiser’ Ngcamphalala, who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Sigwe Inkhundla.
Worth noting is that the money was sponsored through the Eswatini Network of Women, where Shakantu is a patron. The network is a platform which empowers the girl-child and is focused on changing lives.
The Sigwe Inkhundla MP applauded the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs has a heart of gold, thanking her for the generous contribution.
Ngcamphalala further stated that the finals of the netball tournament would be this coming Saturday, May 20, 2022.
He revealed that the target was to attract over 5 000 emaSwati who would also be entertained with music from gospel artist Linda Dlamini, umbhacanga, Lutsango and others.
“We thank the Minister and Eswatini Network of Women for the kind gesture,” said Ngcamphalala.
