MBABANE– The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation offices are a hive of activity with regards to visits from diplomats from across the world.
Just yesterday, Minister of Foreign Affairs Thulisile Dladla met with Serbia’s Ambassador to Eswatini His Excellency Goran Vujicic. He is based in Pretoria, South Africa.
The two officials discussed matters of mutual interests and cooperation.
His Excellency Vujicic thanked His Majesty King Mswati III, the Eswatini Head of State, for the continued support to the Republic of Serbia.
The ambassador further pledged to continue supporting emaSwati students enrolled in universities in Serbia.
About a week ago, the Slovakia Ambassador, His Excellency Saso Podlesnik, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Thuli Dladla in her offices in Mbabane.
The Slovakian Ambassador is currently based in Cairo, Egypt.
According to a brief communiqué sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the meeting resulted in the proposal to establish diplomatic relations and focus on areas of collaboration.
“Slovakia also informed Eswatini on its candidature for the security council. “Areas of proposed cooperation include information, communication and technology (ICT), education and trade,” read the communiqué.
