MBABANE– Robust!

The above word, whose synonyms are vigorous, forceful, healthy, and hearty, has been applied by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in their means to empower the lives of emaSwati.

The above-mentioned ministry has done this by being vigorous and consistent in advertising jobs available for emaSwati in the international space. Also, the ministry has been showing the availability of scholarships where locals can apply.

The ministry, which is under the leadership of Minister Thuli Dladla, has since been persistently posting on all the social media platforms, sharing job and education opportunities to emaSwati.

In the month of January only, the ministry advertised countries available outside the country- in Africa through UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation) and the AU (African Union) and in the United States through Farm4USA platform.

The ministry also reminded emaSwati of scholarships available at the Republic of China (Taiwan).

When sought for comment, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Communications Officer Sikhumbuzo Bhembe said the ministry was on a mission to empower emaSwati and they were partnering with different entities which will offer emaSwati jobs and education opportunities. “We also partnered with the United States Embassy in a sense that they communicate with the ministry if there are job opportunities where emaSwati can fit in and work. This partnership will assist in advertising authentic jobs,” said Bhembe.
